We had a few friends over for an 80's party to commemorate Devin's 40 years on the planet. 80's trivia and 80's karaoke never, ever get old. The same cannot be said, however, for fashion trends. Another totally awesome cake by Stacey!
I haven't been on the blog in a while, so I am catching up! Great clothes, although, I am highly offended that you still have the striped jacket. That's just not good.
The cake is just abstract art using the popular colors of the 80s...(the idea was from decoration at the Sheraton hotel in Denver)the curvy ribbon-like things are from melted chocolate, cooled and then placed onto the the triple lemon cake. The 40 on top is made from gum paste and then painted with food coloring.

OK I give up what is the cake's design? Good job Stacey.

How can you be offended by my having the jacket? I'm thrilled that I could actually put it on!
